Grant & Courtney knew of each other through mutual friends and had memories before dating of out and about downtown Madison. Facebook friends since 2013. Obviously Snapchat friends in June 2014, because Grant put a request out for someone to join him at the Memorial Union for a beer and Courtney messaged that she was in! Lo and behold, it ended up being just the two of them and a pitcher of beer on the shores of Lake Mendota. Those 3 hours turned into some great laughs, fun conversations, and a surprise attraction that neither of them saw coming! After that, they didn't spend many days apart and the rest, as they say, is history!
